Your work stays yours
Rendering happens on your device. There is no upload step, no gallery of user logos, and no analytics on what you design. Clearing your browser removes every trace.
FreeLogoGen exists because the “free logo maker” industry quietly became an upsell funnel: a stretched template, a paywall on the download, and a watermark you can only remove by subscribing. We thought founders deserved better than that.
We are a small group of designers and engineers who have shipped brand systems for startups, cafés, clinics and a surprising number of podcasts. The pattern we kept seeing: a founder needs a real mark this week, has no budget for a full identity engagement, and definitely does not have a week to learn Illustrator.
So we built the tool we wished existed. It runs entirely in the browser. It renders true vectors from the first click. It exports both SVG and PNG without an account, an email gate or a watermark. And it stays free by showing a small number of display ads — never by holding your own artwork hostage.
The philosophy is constraint. One icon, one wordmark, one accent colour, generous spacing. When you remove the option to add a third gradient, what is left has to hold up on its own.
Every feature request gets measured against these. If it breaks one, the answer is no.

A logo pasted together from raster layers is a future problem. Everything here is geometry from the first click, so the SVG you download is the real source — editable, not approximated.
64 icons beats four thousand. 12 fonts beats a dropdown of every family on Google Fonts. Curation is the product.
No account wall, no export credits, no “pro” tier hiding the good shapes. If the tool cannot pay for itself with unobtrusive ads, it does not deserve to exist.
We read every message that comes through the contact form — especially the ones that start with “this is broken”.
The maker is one page, one engine, no framework churn. That means bugs get fixed in hours, not release trains.
Before any layout change ships, we re-run the same twelve briefs: a café, a law firm, a SaaS startup, a podcast, a gym. If one breaks, it does not ship.
Display ads and nothing else. No sponsored placements, no “featured template” slots sold to the highest bidder, no dark patterns in the export flow.
Not every logo needs an agency. But every brand deserves a mark that was drawn, not dragged.
