Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026 · This policy explains what data FreeLogoGen collects, how advertising partners use cookies, and what rights you can exercise.
1. The short version
We designed this site to collect as little as possible. The logo maker runs entirely in your browser — your designs are never uploaded to us. We do not require accounts, we do not sell data, and we do not build profiles of individual users.
2. Information we collect
- Design drafts (stored locally only). Your in-progress logo state is kept in your browser’s local storage on your own device. We cannot see it, and clearing your browser data removes it permanently.
- Contact form submissions. If you write to us, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use it solely to reply, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
- Aggregated usage statistics. We may review anonymised, aggregate metrics (page views, approximate country, device type) to understand which pages are useful. These reports cannot identify you.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Our own use of cookies and local storage is limited to remembering your design draft and basic interface preferences.
When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors — including Google — use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices/.
- You can also set your browser to block or alert you about cookies; the site will keep working, though some features (like your saved draft) may not persist.
For full details on how Google handles data, see the Google Partner Sites policy.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site is free to use and supported by display advertising, primarily through Google AdSense. Ad placements are labelled, kept outside the design workflow, and never inserted into exported files.
Where required by law, we ask for your consent before personalised advertising cookies are set. Declining does not block access to any feature — you will simply see non-personalised ads.
5. Analytics
If analytics is enabled on this deployment, it is configured in a privacy-preserving mode: IP addresses are anonymised, advertising features are disabled, and data is not shared with Google Advertising products. See the analytics section of our configuration for the exact measurement ID in use.
6. Children’s privacy
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The design tool itself collects no personal data from users of any age. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the contact form, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be fulfilled immediately. To exercise any right, email hello@freelogogen.com — we respond within 30 days.
8. Data retention
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Local design drafts | Until you clear browser data |
| Contact form messages | 24 months, then deleted |
| Aggregate analytics | 14 months (rolling) |
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the “last updated” date above. Material changes — for example, a new advertising partner — will be highlighted at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
