Terms of Use

1. The service

FreeLogoGen provides a free, browser-based logo design tool (“the Service”). All rendering and export happen on your device. We may update, change or discontinue parts of the Service at any time; where a change materially affects something you have already downloaded, existing files remain yours under the licence below.

2. Licence to your logos

Any logo you create and export with the Service is yours. You receive a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, modify, reproduce and commercialise the exported artwork — including for client work, products, merchandise and print. No attribution is required.

What we keep: the tool itself, its code, icon library, fonts and palettes. What you get: the specific combination you compose with it. We claim no rights over your designs and we do not display, publish or train on them.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to create unlawful, deceptive, defamatory or infringing material, including marks that violate third-party trademarks.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer or resell the Service itself.
• Do not use automated systems to bypass rate limits or advertising measurement.

4. Trademarks and clearance

We are a design tool, not a legal service. Owning a file is not the same as owning a trademark. Before adopting a name or mark commercially, you are responsible for searching relevant trademark registers and checking for conflicts in your jurisdiction and markets. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice.

5. Third-party content and fonts

The icon library is original geometry created for this Service. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts under their respective open licences (typically the SIL Open Font License). Exported files embed the fonts needed to render your design; review individual font licences if you plan to redistribute the fonts themselves.

6. Advertising

The Service is funded by display advertising. Ads are served by third parties such as Google AdSense and may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. Advertisements are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for advertiser content.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular visual result will meet your requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeLogoGen and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of this site from any claim, demand or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your exported artwork, or your breach of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at this URL with the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide greater rights, those rights remain unaffected.
